Healthy Cooking!
I bought 2 of the electric woks. One for my college daughter and one for my own use. I had a wok many years ago, loved it, and if fact it was worn out. It gives us not only healthy choices with meat and veggies, but also less oil is used, portion control is easy and I have lost 10 pounds in a month just eating right. I gave it 4 stars and could have given it 5 but... cleaning is not easy. It can not be put into water, so I have to wipe it out first, then put soap and water on a cloth or sponge to clean it and then wipe it dry. But that is the only knock that it has.
Generous Size For Big Meals, Heats Fast, BUT....
This wok is a great size (BIG), it heats quite quickly, the non-stick coating is still holding up well after several uses, however there are a couple of things I *wish* were different that would make it an unabashed 5 stars for me. First, cleaning it is not overly difficult, but it is a bit more cumbersome when you have to take extra precautions in not getting the electrics wet while cleaning. Another issue, which I think is just a small one, is the incredibly thin lid. It is very, very easily dented. Mine already has several dents in it, but because of the thinness of the metal, I was able to push some of the dents out. While this doesn't affect the performance of the lid, it is still annoying to me to see. I leave mine out on a rollable kitchen cart, as this wok is quite large and I don't have a...
Love it!
This electric wok is a great size, easy to use and clean, and just right for having a Mongolian Hot Pot dinner party.
