Jenn-Air Cooktop Knob 74010839 NEW OEM Brushed Finish

Not enough information
The information doesn't include the number on the back of the knob. I needed KIP5002, received KIP5075. Also if the diameter was included in the information that would have indicated that this was not the knob that I needed. I needed 1 1/2 in. dia. and I received 2 in. dia.

Expensive Maintenance
Knobs are easily burnt. Have replaced many times. The design of the stove I have is that the biggest one is placed closest to the knob, and wow...that's the worst one. Each knob costs at least $15 plus shipping. This stove was very expensive when I bought and still paying the heavy price for maintenance.

Overpriced cheap junk
These came on my "top of the line" Jenn Air stove and didn't even last a year. They are cheap plastic that breaks with only a little use, and can also melt if the burners are turned up too high. They look like metal but are absolutely the cheapest plastic that you can imagine. You could get better quality plastic in a child's toy from the dollar store.

Skip these knobs. Better yet, skip the Jen Air stove they come on.
