VR3500 and VF3500 filters are very different!!
Post on Amazon lists a sale of VR3500 filters. Order despite one other buyer warning. Dumb on me!! Seller did the same thing as to other buyer, they sent me VF3500 filters instead of the VR3500 filters as advertized. Both the VR3500 and VF3500 filters are used on Ridgid shop vacs but the installation method and structure are completely different. BEWARE!! This seller, it appears, does not know there is a difference. Very disappointing shopping experience!!
Shipped different product
Ordered a VR3500 which was the kind of filter that came with my vacuum. Received a different product, VF3500. If VR3500 wasn't available, why is it being advertised? Miss leading business practice. Won't order my vacuum filters on-line anymore. Not happy or satisfied with the transaction and I paid way too much for shipping the light package. Don't be fooled by this retailer.

I got a filter i did not order the "vf 3500" is what was sent I ordered the "vr 3500"
which seems to cost about 6-7 dollars more. the really wierd thing is that the foam pre-filter
I ordered with the vr 3500 is just short of impossible to install. I am pretty good with my hands
and it took me about 20 minutes to work it up over the filter. good luck, j3
