For white rice only!
This product arrived very quickly and tried to cook up some brown rice and found that it was tough. So I tried again with the same results ! Made a call to NORPRO and they were super nice and said that it was intended for white rice only. So if you cook white rice only, this could be the product for you. The chickens didn't seem to mind and ate the rice & produced eggs for us!
Practice makes perfect
The quality of the container is good, but the instruction/recipe book was a joke. If you are using a newer microwave, you may be cooking the rice too hot. If you find the rice shell not popped and hard, you are cooking it on too high of power. Product very easy to clean.

this product was great the rice was nice and fluffy it did what it said it would do i like it alot
